What is wrong with a non-interventionist foreign policy? libertarians do not think the military is evil?

we are in support of a strong national defense... but having a bloated overseas presence undermines that, as it costs a lot of money. also, i for one, do not believe that our military men are over there killing people in m, purposely. what i am against is unintended consequences of foreign policy. for example, when terrorist targets get mixed up with hospitals or residential areas. this just pisses people off and provides an incentive for them to go to the recruiting camps...
