Am i going to hell, despite believing in god?

i like to think of myself as a good, kind person, but i know that is not enough to get into heaven. i personally do not read any holy book be it the bible or the qu'ran. i do, however, feel that i have a relationship with god. i have never read the bible, but would still regard myself as a christian, if i died tomorrow, am i going to hell? are muslims going to hell despite having a relationship with god, even if it is not the god that they believe they are worshiping?
