Can a history buff on the Aztecs please answer this question?

I have a theory. The Aztecs believed in this god name Quetzlcoatl, right. They described him as being light skinned annd bearded and said he didnt like sacrifice, which was unusual. Also, the Aztecs said that priests received magical messages from this black, flat, and shiny rock. There are many other strange things like this. In my theory, i think that time travelers came back in time and used T.V.s to communciate with the Aztecs. One of these men probably came to the aztecs and preached against sacrifice. They thought he was a god and worshipped him. Do you think my theory is correct?
