Doctor said my liver was enlarged. What does that mean?

I went to the doctor and he said my liver was enlarged. He sent me for blood work and I go back in a few days to find out the results. In the past I only drank about 1 to 2 times a year and it's been about 3 years since I've had anything at all. Usually you hear drinking causes liver problems or abuse of over the counter medicines. I very seldom take any tylenol/advil. Any suggestions of what this could be?
