Is the moral of my poem clear?

She was put on a pedestal because of her honesty and purity...she hid nothing of who she was and because of that people stayed away. Not wanting to taint or blemish her. In their efforts to keep her pure, they denied her all the needs in Maslov's hierarchy...psychology, safety, love/belonging, self esteem and self actualization. Without those basic needs being met, she died and is still illuminating the way for those still fumbling in the dark with how someone should really be treated and appreciated.
